The Walls of LIFE
can seem mighty impossible
to cross.
Psalm 37:34
- Wait for the Lord and keep His ways.
He will exalt you
to inherit the land.
Most likely you have tried to climb "your
wall"
numerous times and in numerous ways.

Peter 5:10 - And the God of all grace, who called YOU to his eternal glory
in Christ, after YOU have suffered a little while, will himself
restore
YOU and make YOU strong, firm and steadfast.
Most likely you have tried to dig under
it
thinking there MUST be a way out!
Psalm 37:34
- Wait for the Lord and keep His ways.Isaiah 41:18 - I will make rivers
flow on barren heights and springs within the valley. I will turn the desert
into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.
He will exalt yo
Perhaps like me you have considered, calculated,
planned and even attempted to BLAST your way out even if it meant a trip
to Eternity rather than stay on Earth.
Psalm
19:14 - May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing
in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
STILL YOU FIND YOURSELF ALIVE
Psalm
84:11 - For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace
and glory: no good (thing) will be withhold from them that walk uprightly.
and feeling helpless and hopeless.
Matthew 12:20 -
A bruised reed shall
He not break,
and smoking flax
shall He not quench."
I have been there, I know.
Colossians
2:15 - He (God) disarmed the rulers and authorities (and) made a public
display of them, having triumphed over them through Him (Christ).
Do you remember
the Bible account of the
Walls of Jericho?
It can be quite an amusing story to
read!
It is found in Joshua chapter 6.
God had promised that the land would
belong to the children of Israel.
Yet the city of Jericho was a WALLED
city.
God gave Joshua (Israelite Leader) some
pretty strange war tactics!
Colossians 2:15
- He (God) disarmed the rulers and authorities (and) made a public display
of them, having triumphed over them through Him (Christ).
Joshua could have laughed at God...
but he trusted God even though the directions
were mighty different indeed.
The army was to march around the city
walls one time a day for six days.
Silently they marched around the wall
the first day.
Silently they marched around the wall
the second day.
Silently they marched around the wall
the third day.
Silently they marched around the wall
the fourth day.
Silently they marched around the wall
the fifth day.
Silently they marched around the wall
on the sixth day.
Can you imagine the laughter from the
Jericho people as they watched this!
But
on the seventh day God
told them to march around seven times,
then the priests were to blow their
ram's horns
and the people were to shout.
Proverbs 28:1
- The wicked flee when no one is pursui
ng, but the righteous are bold as a lion.
The Bible says:
"So
the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets; and it came
to pass when the people heard the sound of the trumpet and the people shouted
with a great shout that the wall fell down flat, so that the people
went up into the city, every man straight before him,
and
they took the city." (Joshua 6:20)
God's ways are not our ways. His
thoughts are much high than ours. He knows what He is doing. He has the
power to do anything.....but He chooses to do things as we cooperate with
Him. He is God.
Perhaps you have walked the first or
second or third time around your wall
......thinking it will NEVER come down!
You feel like you cannot take it ANYMORE!
Perhaps the Lord now has
you ready to hear the trumpet blow
and have the walls fall down.
Do you trust God?
Tell HIM you are ready
to follow HIS tactics to freedom and abundant life.
